At the client’s request, we integrated a custom BBQ cut-out, allowing for a seamless installation of their outdoor cooking setup. To take it even further, the space also includes a built-in fire pit, designed to accommodate a rotisserie system, making this benchtop more than just a surface, but the true heart of an outdoor entertaining space.

Drumcondra Custom Concrete Benchtop
This custom concrete benchtop in Lara is a perfect blend of modern craftsmanship and rustic character. Set against a bold exposed red brick splashback and supported by matching brick pillars, the benchtop anchors the entire space with a raw yet refined presence. The concrete itself features a smooth, satin-sealed surface in a soft, natural tone, chosen to complement the rich texture and colour of the surrounding brickwork without competing with it.
Carefully poured and finished by hand, the benchtop was built to align seamlessly with the brick piers and integrated into the custom framework of the outdoor kitchen. It serves not just as a durable work surface, but as a visual centrepiece — offering plenty of space for food prep, serving, or gathering with mates around the BBQ.
